Spring Grove Cemetary...

located in Cincinnati, OH is 733 acres big with many man-made lakes, art, statues (dating from several different periods), a waterfall and much more.

This place, for a cemetary, is really breath-taking! You could spend literally several hours browsing and taking in its natural beauty. I still am in awe. They have a website; so check it out.
http://www.springgrove.org

Anyways, these are several pics I took today when I was out there. It was a raining mess today in Cinci, but still these pics turned out well. Hopefully, it caught the 'essence' for you as it did for me......

I loved these photos! OMG, this place is beautiful! I'm with you, I could no doubt stroll thru here for hours. The History of it all and the beauty...breath-taking indeed. Sun 20-Mar-2005 21:00

hidden deep within a highway in KY. Jacky and I stumbled upon this natural beauty when we were looking for one of his friends from bootcamp. Yeah, needless to say we went waaaaaaay out of our way but in the end? Id say it was worth it.

Luckily he had his digicam with him, so I took some pics. : )

Well, this is our (Anthony and I) fishie tank... a 55 gal. beast! Heh. The boy is totally in charge of this because, well, hes the fish addict and he *truly* enjoys it as a hobby. Hmm, what a dork!

Anyways, we spent lots on it and the beginning pics are quite 'ghetto' because we didnt have much done to it. As you can see in lates pics it looks quite good. I definetly think we could give a pet store a run for their money! ....

I happened to buy a hog-nose puffer fish (they are from Laos, Thailand, Asia areas) and I didnt realize they like to slice & dice their meals (aka his tankmates). Needless to say, the boy and I found many of our starter cichlids breakfast, lunch and dinner for this greedy bastard that I had named, Piggy. Piggy is back at the pet store. And were working on stocking our cichlid supply back up, *again*.
All the fish you see with a (RIP) by their name were taken by Piggy and acouple were snacks courtesy of Gus aka Superfrog. I didnt take pics of *all* our fish cause some died way to quick.

These pics were moreless taken on June '04. It was when I made my journey from NE to KY to be with my boyfriend (whom I met online).

You can see some from MO, IL and than KY. The Cumberland Gap is inbetween KY and TN. Actually, if your up in the area, theres a split where you are in VA as well, cool!

She has guided me and helped me in many ways, not to mention saved my ass acouple times, . Without her I have no idea how Id go on.

Also, there are pics of her husband, Drew, who is an awesome man and very funny and their kids.

Much Love, yall!

I named him after my favorite Nascar driver (Dale Earnhardt Jr). Of course, over time Ive given him several nicnames. He loves having his tummy rubbed and scratched, what dog doesnt, right?

Kloe

This is Kloe, she was my second pit. Sadly, she lost her life very tragically at 5 months of age. We had formed such a great bond, not to mention she was so spoiled, in a word she was my angel.
She passed in Oct '02.

To this very day I still have a hard time talking about her or seeing pics of her... when I do, I instantly break down and cry. : (
She's buried in my backyard right outside my bedroom window so I can always look out and 'see' her. I guess in ways it makes me feel closer, I believe her spirit is with me.

Kloe was a razorback/tonka.
